Introducing Délali Robinson Cosmetics & 2 Of My Fav Products

Hi you all! So I have been working with new and small Minority owned cosemtic brands for under a year on The Beauties In Color Here Everyday YouTube and Instagram. One of the first brands that sent me the most amount of love, support and PR packages has been Délali Robinson Cosmetics and I have nothing but great things to say about this brand. Like I love them soooooo much! So much that you have to be introduced to the owner Adodo. So without further ado scroll down and get to know her and how she started her brand.

FYI, my site still does contain afflilate links where I receive a very, very small amount of income (to purchase more makeup from minority owned cosmetic brands;).

When did you fall in love with makeup? I felt in love with Makeup about 4-5 years ago.

What was your first makeup product? Personally a press powder from MAC

What is your beauty routine from skincare to makeup application? Daily washing, toning and moisturizing my face then apply a light application of Délali Robinson Cosmetics dual powder

When did you start your business? I started my makeup line mid/end of 2016

How man years young are you? 39 years young!

What convinced you to go hard as a Minority owned brand? I keep pushing and go hard with my line because despite other brands being available, I feel like the connection between companies and consumers sometimes get lost. I want my company and products to be available/approachable and identifiable to women all around the world. There is always room for each of us.

Where would you like to see your brand featured? I would love to see my brand being featured in Oprah Magazine, Essence, Elle UK and Vogue. Btw, has been featured on Black Bloggers Chicago and also The Look Chicago. I use her products frequently on YouTube.

Where do you see your business in the next year? We will be building our social media presence and online shopping sales funnel to reach women worldwide. My goal is to have a physical location in Germany or France in 2020.

What influencers have you worked with and what influencers would you like to work with? We have only worked with one so far SL Thomas of ”The Beauties In Color Here Everyday". We would love to work with more micro-influencers that believe in our brand and what it stand for. As for already established influencers, we would love to work with Jackie Aina or Nyakim Gatwech.

Where can people purchase your products? Online at www.delalicosmetics.com Locally at our salon in 3601 W. 216th Street, Matteson, IL 60443.

Why do you think it is important to support Minority Owned Cosmetic Brands? I think is important to support Minority owned businesses to help level the field, help strengthen and financially grow our communities. We know and understand the daily struggles.

Now that you all are able to learn a little bit more about her brand and one of my newer favorite brands, here are a few of my favorites that I think you should definitely try.
This is the cream HD foundation that leaves your skin looking so flawless and airbrushed that people will think you had a chemical peel. When applying this a little goes a long way so only use about a dime to nickel size amount if you not want the caked on look.

The next one is the Illuminator in both Rusty Cooper, which is pictured and the other one in Gold. I like to placed this cream highlighter underneath my foundation to create a 'glow from within' type of look. It is very creamy and pigmented however it is really simple to remove with a makeup removing wipe, or my go to, coconut oil.

Okay ladies and gents, now get your coins ready and your fingers ready to click to follow Délali Robinson Cosmetics on Instagram and sign up for their website to hear about new product launches.
